Rara Avis group on Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2018
We participated in another significant event in the wedding dress industry. For the second straight year we are participants of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week. Events that take place on the runways in Barcelona, set a high bar for world designers a year in advance. This is the very time that the masters have to create and implement something with the "wow" effect till the next show in Spain.
A truly great project, BBFW is a venue for completely different cultures and, consequently, opinions about bridal fashion industry. In total, more than 370 exhibitors were represented at the exhibition, some of which were international companies from 28 countries. These are the largest salons from the UK, the USA, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, France, Portugal, Belgium, Lebanon and Israel.
RARA AVIS GROUP organized a booth showcasing Rara Avis, Ange Etoiles and Blammo-Biamo brands. Among others, we especially liked Reem Acra, Amsale, Justin Alexander, Morilee, Demetrios, Allure, Maggie Sottero, Enzoani and Badgley Mischka, Caroline Castigliano, Marylise, Rhea Costa, Ersa Atelier, Birenzweig Bridal & Liz Martinez. Also in 2018, Spanish Wedding Fashion Week for the first time became a platform for young talents. Such developing brands as Alejandro Resta, Mar Rodriguez, Laura Riera and Italian designer Simone Marulli took part in the fashion show in Barcelona.
We would like to mention the work done by the exhibition organizers. “BBFW Village” is a delightful, unusual and inspiring place dedicated to the 20th century art, design and fashion. This place saw fashion shows of wedding and evening dresses designed by Christian Lacroix, Yves Saint Laurent, Manuel Pertegas and Rosser.
